WALK PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS (Revised July 2023)
When participating in Club organized walks
Members, visitors and any guests will be asked to sign the Walk Register.
In signing the Walk Register you will be taken as
indicating acceptance of the following conditions.
Ø You
discharge EAST ANTRIM RAMBLING CLUB or any other individual concerned,
of all liability for, or claim or actions arising out of any injuries caused by
or in any way related to your participation in the walk.
Ø You
declare that you are participating voluntarily in the walk as an individual.
Ø You
understand that there is an element of danger in participating in the walk.
Ø You
are happy to participate and understand that you can withdraw from
participation in the walk at any time.
Ø You
are over 18 years of age, or, if you are under 18 you will be accompanied by a
family member of the Club, during the walk.
Members are strongly advised to consider the need for
personal accident and loss insurance as this cover is not provided by the
Club's policy. Drivers
intending to transport passengers should have passenger liability insurance
cover.

VISITORS
Visitors are welcome to participate in a walk but do
so entirely at their own risk.
The Club’s insurance policy does not compensate or
indemnify for loss or damage to property or for personal injury caused to or by
visitors when walking with the club. The policy provides appropriate cover only
for those who have paid their annual subscription and thus are Members of the
Club.
