SUNDAY WALK PROGRAMME – Spring/Summer 2025

*  All walks start at 10.30 am at the WALK MEETING POINT (including A-B walks) - any concerns at all about the walk please contact the WALK LEADER.  If going to the
interim meeting point check time carefully as times change.  Walks are circular unless otherwise stated. Please check emails prior to walk in case there is any change

BT69 0NE Later start time to facilitate use of the train. Meeting at 11.08am	7 Miles Approx Circular walk around Moira Demesne. A flat walk which can be done in trainers/walking shoes. 13^th April	Roe Valley Country Park	Ballymartin P&R Junction 5 M2 Leaving at 9.15am	Main car park at visitors centre Roe Valley Country Park, Limavady BT49 9NN C678203 Sheet 7	7 Miles Riverside paths, sometimes uneven boots and poles advisable as there are a few short but steep ascents and descents. 27^th April	Helens Bay to Helens Tower This walk is in memory of Doris Craig who led this walk up until recent years, who sadly passed away in early March. 8^th June	Antrim Plateau	No IMP	Linford to Glenarm a Linear walk (A-B). Meet Glenarm car park on Coast road to leave half the cars (B). 2 person per car to (A) Linford car park. 27^th July	Causeway Coast Benone-Castlerock (A to B)	No IMP	Meeting at car parking area at the beach in Castlerock to leave half the cars (point B). This parking area begins just after the public toilets and extends along the beach front. No more the 2 persons per car to point B WE WILL BE LEAVING POINT B AT 10AM TO GET TO POINT A	8 Miles approx. Mixture of beach, road and grassy track. The walk on the beach at Benone involves crossing over 3 small streams. These come from Downhill cliffs and near the sea they dissipate and should be easily crossed. However, if there has been heavy rain or there is a high tide this might be difficult. I suggest we all bring a small towel and be prepared for a paddle!	Rene Ireland 07932231983
